3 Classic Christmas Movies to Watch to Get You in the Spirit

Hi all! I am back to posting after a long break and of course the first post back has to be about Christmas! I hope everyone is having a lovely Christmas season. If you need a little more holiday cheer, watch these three favorite Christmas movies of mine:

1. Christmas Vacation (1989)

This is one of my absolute favorite holiday movies. The humor and classic scenes never become old! Starring Chevy Chase as the protagonist, this movie is bound to get you laughing and more excited for Christmas. Not everyone dreads seeing their family for the holidays, but this family does. This movie is packed with an hour and a half’s worth of chaos that makes the holidays the best time of the year.

2. Elf (2003)

This movie is always a must watch for me every Christmas. Much like Christmas Vacation, the humor and memorable scenes never get old. Will Ferrell plays his character so well that it has become a symbol for Christmas by being featured on sweaters and cards! Not only does the humor make this movie fun to watch, but it also spreads the message of love, family and spreading Christmas cheer!

3. Home Alone (1990)

If you haven’t seen this one, it’s about time you do! Grab some Christmas cookies and enjoy seeing how a sneaky young boy, Kevin, is accidentally left at home while his family leaves for vacation. He learns how to live on his own for a while and experiences not being with his family for Christmas. He also has to defend himself from two burglars which makes for great humor and some more classic scenes.

These movies are perfect for a night in and a Christmas movie marathon! Snuggle up and enjoy!
